Announcing New Executive Director
For the first time in our 104 year history, the Hebrew Free Loan Association of Washington State has hired an Executive Director to lead HFLA’s mission to provide interest-free loans to the Jewish community.
The position is part-time and focused on helping HFLA grow its impact across Washington State’s Jewish community. “HFLA has seen the need for loans increase substantially in the last two years and hopes to address that increased demand by raising additional funds from donors to help those Jews most in need”, said the, current HFLA Board Treasurer.
The President of the Board noted, “Maura has been an incredible and thoughtful supporter of HFLA over the years, guiding the organization to think bigger. She is exactly the leader HFLA needs to usher in its next era of growth and impact.”
The Executive Director is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. The Executive Director will work with the board on strategic planning and lead implementation, loan processing procedures, fundraising, and communication efforts.
