How does the loan process work?
After you submit a prequalification form, an HFLA staff member will contact you to discuss next steps. If your loan is approved, you’ll sign a promissory note (what's that?) before funds are distributed.
The process can take as little as a few business days, though some applications may take up to a week.
Repayment plans are tailored to each borrower’s individual circumstances. We encourage repayment via Zelle or check to avoid credit card processing fees.
